Service¶
A service is a Docker container defined in the Qaack file and
provisioned for an environment. Each service runs an image, may check out the repository, runs
build steps from commands, and starts with the configured start command.
Default service¶
One service is usually marked default: true. It receives the environment's main URL
({envId}.qaack.cloud). Additional services are exposed at
serv-{name}-{envId}.qaack.cloud — see Networking.
Lifecycle¶
Services are created during environment provisioning, built according to the qaackfile, and started after a successful build. A locked service keeps its container and volumes across the next soft rebuild; unlocked services are recreated.
In the panel, open Services on the environment details page for status, logs, console, and lock controls — see Environment services.
